Strike zone--FAMU tabletop exercise: FAMU Emergency Management held a game-day preparedness tabletop exercise to evaluate the coordinated response needed for a major game-day incident. This exercise sparked discussions and helped highlight areas that need further strengthening. Involvement from various local first responder agencies and university departments proved highly valuable.

Crisis Response Team Training: FAMU Emergency Management participated in the Florida Crisis Response Team training. This was a valuable learning experience for the team and an excellent opportunity to enhance resources available for our university during incidents.

This exercise occurs every 3 years and helps test response coordination and capabilities among various first responder agencies in Leon County and the surrounding communities.

The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) was once again activated and staffed with various University Departments and public safety partners this past weekend to kick off the 2024 football season. The EOC will continue to be activated throughout all football home games this season to monitor activity at the stadium and prioritize the safety of all attendees.

FAMU collaborated with FEMA, FSU, and Missouri's Urban Search & Rescue Taskforce 1 to conduct inaugural UAS flights over Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, capturing crucial imagery for pre- and post-disaster impact assessments.
