Upward Bound Math & Science

About the Program

Florida A&M’s Upward Bound Math Science Program is a federally funded college preparatory program that strives to help participants reach their maximum potential. The program aims to help participants navigate high school and be college-ready upon graduation. Upward Bound Math Science operates year-round and offers services to student participants during the school year and a summer residential program.   


Eligibility

9th-12th grade student that attends one of 4 target high schools

  1. James S. Rickards High School
  2. Amos P. Godby High School
  3. Florida A&M University Developmental Research School
  4. Madison County High School

 

Must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Qualify as a low-income student based on Federal Guidelines.
  • First Generation College Student (the parent has not obtained a bachelor’s degree).
