Village East & West
The facility is broken into two sides, known as Polkinghorne Village East and West. The suite-style six story hall accommodates over 800 students. As Polkinghorne Village is located on the west side of FAMU's campus, residents can enjoy the short distance to other popular campus locations, including the Bragg Memorial Stadium, the Student Services Center, which includes the bookstore, and the cafe.
At Polkinghorne Village, community is everything. Participate in our diverse and eclectic array of programming for students, including Rattlers Recycle, Book Bash, Spring Egg Hunt and Consent is Sexy. Build a healthy and friendly competitive environment through Battle of the Floors, a building-wide competition where each floor competes for the title of "Best Floor." With so many ways to get involved, your neighbors become your FAMUly and Polkinghorne feels like home.
