Professor Emeritus
Nomination Criteria
- Ten or more years in the Florida Teacher Retirement system or the Florida Retirement System, or in one of the approved Optional retirement programs.
- Tenured member in the System at the Time of retirement.
- Full Professor at Florida A&M University at the time of retirement.
- Five or more years of teaching experience.
- Completely retired member of the System
- Designated in the University catalog as Professor Emeritus.
- Given library usage, with carrel as available.
- Afforded parking permit and may apply for paid selected parking.
- Allowed reserved seating at University Convocations.
- Recognized at Commencement with name listed in program the semester and year the honor is bestowed
