As interim president of Florida A&M University, I want to emphasize how deeply committed we are to delivering exceptional service both within our campus and to the broader community. Service Excellence isn’t just an initiative—it’s a fundamental part of who we are and how we operate. Our vision is for Service Excellence to become ingrained in FAMU’s DNA, shaping every interaction and decision across our university.

This movement is not just for a select few; it’s for everyone—students, faculty, staff, alumni, partners, and our surrounding community. You will see Service Excellence in action at every level of our institution, starting with me. I am dedicated to leading by example, ensuring that our commitment to Service Excellence is reflected in everything we do.

Our goal is to create an environment where every individual feels valued, respected, and supported. Whether you’re a student seeking guidance, a faculty member collaborating on research, or a community partner engaging with our university, you can expect the highest standards of service at FAMU. As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, I fully appreciate that our commitment to Service Excellence requires the dedication, support, and daily practice of everyone in our FAMU community.
