In this guide, we'll provide essential tips and packing advice to ensure you stay comfortable and prepared for whatever the Tallahassee climate throws your way.

Dress & Prepare for The Tallahassee Climate

  • I. Pack Casual Attire

    Think hot thoughts! Tallahassee in June, July & August is HOT, humid, and often wet! The temperature in Tallahassee ranges from 70-100 °F during this time of year. Keep this in mind when packing for your trip.

  • IV. Drink Water & Stay Hydrated

  • Insect Repellent - Keep bugs at bay, especially around the campus green spaces.
  • Lightweight Comfortable Backpack or Tote Bag - Easily carry all your essentials without adding extra weight.
  • Lip Balm with SPF - Protect your lips from getting chapped and sunburned.
  • Small Portable Electric Fan - Stay cool with a personal breeze.

What To Do In Case of Inclimate Weather? The risk of hurricanes is significant for Florida during the six-month Atlantic hurricane season, spanning from June 1 to November 30.
