Time blocks will be between 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM by appointment only. With thousands of residents moving in each semester, we stagger the check-in times and dates in order to provide everyone the best move-in experience possible. Please schedule your move-in time according to your specific hall move-in date.
The primary vehicle route shall be Wahnish Way, Gaines Street, Osceola Street, and Perry Street (both directions). Emergency vehicles shall be given priority for travel if an emergency incident occurred.
Once the student has been given the approval to begin moving their belongings into their room, parents/ guardians may move their vehicle to the unloading area of the residence hall. Because parking is limited, unloading zones are for temporary parking only. Campus police will be present to offer directions and parking restrictions.

Florida A&M University (FAMU) Housing has adopted the position that there is no COVID testing or vaccination requirement to live on campus. Due to the broad availability of COVID vaccines and personal protective items, i.e. face coverings, etc., like other State University System (SUS) institutions, FAMU is no longer offering COVID isolation spaces for students who test positive. The University does not have the capacity or available space to accommodate for isolation or quarantine.
Effective Fall 2022, students who test positive for COVID are permitted to isolate in their residence hall room, regardless of whether they have a roommate or not. Students always have the choice to isolate off-campus, however, they are not required to do so.
Students should contact the Student Health Center for information about medical services available on campus, including COVID testing and vaccines. Students are encouraged to follow CDC COVID-19 Community Levels (COVID-19 Community Levels | CDC) and their guidance for making decisions about individual prevention behaviors.
