Strollers, signs, banners, balloons, and air horns are not permitted in the arena.
FAMU wants to ensure all attendees are safe during commencement. We monitor the weather to keep attendees informed of any changes or delays to the event schedule.

No Physical Programs Will Be Printed.
All guests will be able to access the digital program by scanning the QR code posted throughout the arena. or by clicking HERE

are NOT PERMITTED in the arena at any time during the event. These items obstruct views and traffic flow of all attendees.
Yes, the Exit Survey must be completed before prospective graduates receive their name cards and cords. Access the Exit Survey.
Please arrive 90 Minutes prior to the start of your designated commencement ceremony for staging.

Students are required to participate in the ceremony for which they have applied for graduation. For example, if a student applies for graduation during the Spring term, they will only be able to participate in the Spring Commencement ceremony. There are no exceptions to this policy.
No graduating member of a organization or club may perform/hop/stroll/chant or etc. on the stage or on the graduate seating level/area.
