My name is Dr. Yolande McCray. I am an autonomous Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I obtained my undergraduate degrees in Nursing, Nursing Administration and Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida in Orlando (FL). My love for education prompted me to seek and obtain a Master of Science degree in Nursing Education from Barry University in Miami (FL). I went on to pursue a Family Nurse Practitioner Master of Science degree from Chamberlain University (IL) and a post-Master of Science Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of Miami (FL). My Doctorate in Nursing Practice was completed at Chamberlain University in Chicago (IL) where the project focus encompassed effective screening tools and mental health referrals for maternal patients at risk for depression.

My background is labor and delivery. I worked as a staff nurse and preceptor for over 14 years. I merged my love for maternal health and psychiatry to become an advocate for maternal mental health. Passionate about people, I also founded Julia's Kids Incorporated, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization in 2015. Based in South Florida, the organization offers resources to families with youth who have experienced the death of a loved one. I am currently self employed as a Nurse Practitioner.
