About Me


Dr. Daniels is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree at Florida A&M University and earned her Doctor of Nurse Practice (DNP) Degree at Florida State University with a focus in Family Nurse Practice. As a registered nurse, Dr. Daniels worked in a variety of settings, including Oncology-Hematology units, Medical-Surgical units, and Rehabilitation units, where she served as staff nurse, charge nurse and chemotherapy-certified nurse. As a Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Daniels has spent most of her time practicing as a Travel and Home Health Nurse Practitioner, visiting homes within the region. Dr. Daniels is a member of the National League for Nurses Association. Her research interests include cognitive behavioral therapy and symptomatology of oncology and hematology patients. Her honors include receiving the Nurse Excellence Award in 2017 and being nominated for the Faculty of the Year award in 2018.
