About Me


Dr. Lisa H. Gardner is a tenured Associate Professor and dual Associate Dean for Research and Faculty & Staff Development at Florida A&M University School of Nursing. A nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner, she is committed to advancing public health, health promotion, and student success through evidence-based teaching and leadership.

With a strong background in academic assessment and program development, Dr. Gardner played a pivotal role in implementing the Nuventive course assessment module to improve learning outcomes and licensure exam performance. She has served on multiple university and school committees and is deeply involved in supporting faculty and student advancement through scholarship, mentorship, and innovation.
