Dr. Jeuanne Pitter is an Assistant Professor at FAMU School of Nursing with over 10
years of clinical experience as a staff and travel nurse specializing in pediatrics
and Level II NICU. She is a certified pediatric nurse and board-certified Family Nurse
Practitioner. Her DNP project focused on developing a standardized care plan for managing
type 2 diabetes mellitus. Dr. Pitter serves on the FAMU Faculty Senate and advises
the Student Nurses’ Association. She is also the Level 2 Leader and Chair of the Undergraduate
Assessment & Evaluation Committee.
