About Me


Dr. Jeuanne Pitter is an Assistant Professor at the FAMU School of Nursing. She has over 10 years of clinical practice experience as a staff and travel nurse in the specialties of pediatrics and level II NICU. She is a certified pediatric nurse and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her DNP project focus was developing a standardized care plan for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Dr. Pitter serves on the FAMU Faculty Senate and is the current advisor for the Student Nurses’ Association. She is also a member of the National League for Nurses Association. When she is not preparing for classes, she enjoys traveling, reading, and learning new things.
