About Me


Dr. Janelle R. Baker is a respected academic leader, seasoned nurse educator, and board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with over 30 years of experience in nursing and healthcare. She brings a wealth of clinical and academic expertise to her role as Associate Professor at Florida A&M University School of Nursing.

In addition to teaching, Dr. Baker maintains an active clinical practice, managing a broad range of mental health conditions. She is a strong advocate for mental health awareness, especially within underserved and minority populations.
