Erin Lanier brings extensive clinical and educational expertise to FAMU School of Nursing as lead faculty for Health Assessment theory and Medical-Surgical clinical courses. She is responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive instructional materials, coordinating clinical scheduling in collaboration with healthcare partners, and fostering engaging, student-centered learning environments. Erin evaluates student performance through formative and summative assessments, providing targeted feedback to promote professional growth.
Her background includes leadership roles with the Florida Department of Health focused on nursing policy and quality improvement initiatives. Erin is passionate about preparing nursing students for successful careers through innovative, outcome-driven education. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP).
