About Me


Dr. Guthrie brings a wealth of clinical experience and knowledge and pathophysiological sciences, health assessment, and medical surgical nursing. Dr. Guthrie’s 20+ years of teaching associate, baccalaureate, and masters nursing students bring a benefit to the learning of the discipline. Dr. Guthrie is a registered nurse with current certifications in critical care, basic life support, advanced cardiac life support; he is also an advanced practice registered nurse with certifications as an acute care nurse practitioner. He has been chairman of several committees, a faculty senator, and on the board for the Tallahassee Council of Advanced Practice Nurses.
