About Me

Dr. Brenda L. Hughes is an associate professor of sociology.  She joined the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice in 2004. 

Prior to joining the department, she worked as a Senior Policy Analyst with the Florida Legislature’s Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability.
