Fredrick S. Humphries Science and Research Center, Suite 203-E
I received a multidisciplinary education and training: BS and MS in Biology from the American University of Beirut (AUB), a Master and Doctoral level training in Health Policy and Administration (HPA), and a postdoctoral training in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). I have a broad background in health services research with specific training in health outcomes research. My research focuses on improving patient quality of life by informing decision making in health care at the individual and policy levels. The focus of my fellowship experience has been on evaluating economic, humanistic, and clinical outcomes of drug therapy in several therapeutic areas. I possess a solid foundation in epidemiological approaches to the delivery of healthcare services. My research experience grounded me in the analysis of complex datasets. I integrate my educational, training, research, and work experience to inform my teaching, advising, and mentoring students.
