Dr. Vanessa B. Crowther is an Associate Professor and Graduate Recruitment Coordinator in the Division of Health Care Management at Florida A&M University’s School of Allied Health Sciences. With over 30 years of experience in public health management, she has led efforts in program planning, evaluation, data analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning, while also securing competitive grant funding to support community and academic initiatives.

Her commitment to faculty excellence has been strengthened through participation in programs such as the Florida Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate Research Boot Camp, FAMU’s Center for Faculty ADVANCEment, and the Association of College and University Educators & American Council of Education. She is also deeply engaged in the profession, holding memberships in organizations including the Association of University Programs in Health Administration, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the National Association of Health Services Executives, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the American Public Health Association, and the Florida Public Health Association.
