• I. OUR MISSION

  

  It is the mission of the USSC Learning Centers to encourage investment in learning by supplying students with the tools they need to achieve their goals. We strive to cultivate an environment where students can explore learning, improve their academic skills, and gain confidence in their academic practices. We believe in being flexible in our tutoring methods because every student learns differently, and we strive to communicate information in ways that respect a multitude of learning styles.

  The USSC Learning Centers' vision is to contribute to student success and achievement academically and personally by providing services that encourage a commitment to learning and a confidence and curiosity in their approach to information.

  I. Supplement professorial instruction by bolstering students' understanding and comprehension of course material to help them achieve academic success.

  II. Facilitate co-curricular activities that provide students with the opportunity to improve upon students’ critical academic skills.

  III. Dialogue with students to help them investigate their academic foundation to build upon their strengths and improve their challenges.
