Meek-Eaton Black Archives is open to the public Tuesday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m (Saturday hours are subject to change).  Please call in advance.  

Please note that museum entry closes one hour before our listed closing time to ensure guests have adequate time to enjoy the exhibits without feeling rushed.

There is no admission fee. Museum tours are self-guided. Groups of 10 or more people should call to schedule the group tour. Large groups may receive a brief welcome, introduction, or presentation on a special area of interest before viewing the exhibits based on staff availability.

Parking Smart Before You Embark: Your Museum Adventure Awaits!

  • Visitors and groups coming to the Black Archives on Florida A&M University's campus must obtain a parking decal from Parking Services.

    Parking is enforced 24/7, and violations may result in your vehicle being immobilized or towed.
