Entomology

The Entomology (Insect Science) Program provides students with scientific knowledge of insects and their interactions with people and the environment. Students receive mentorship and opportunities for experiential learning during their studies. They receive training in pest mitigation, biological control, biosecurity, forensic entomology, medical and veterinary entomology, public health, and urban entomology. As a result, our graduates are in great demand upon graduation. Excellent employment opportunities are available to graduates with state and federal agencies as well as major private companies.
