The Florida A&M University Marching “100” performs at the 2025 U.S. Open to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of alumna and tennis icon Althea Gibson, who broke the color barrier in professional tennis. Gibson, who attended FAMU on a tennis scholarship, won five Grand Slam singles titles, including consecutive U.S. Open and Wimbledon championships in 1957 and 1958.
